God expects us, as His body, to come to a place of maturity. He expects the believer to grow up in a way that they are not blind to the evil of this world, but rather that they awake to the reality of being the salt and light of this world. We are called to preserve the holiness of God and to let His light shine forth no matter how dark the world may become. We are not to fear or become afraid, but are to walk in boldness as we live out Truth.
