It’s crucial to understand that when you come to the commitment of marriage, everything changes. The Bible makes it clear that the two became one flesh. It is no longer about individual wants, desires, or welfare. Everything action, influence, and decision now effects one another. If you are to have a successful marriage, it must be done God’s way. You must lay down your own life. For in this we see how marriage is a direct reflection of Christ and the Church.
