When Jesus demonstrated the way we should pray, He made it very clear to the disciples that it is God who sits on the thrown. When we pray, ‘Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven,’ we are acknowledging that we are of God’s Kingdom and that we are fully submitted to His rule. It a cry that our desire is to align our lives with His plan.
